Advocacy / NAMI
NAMI
NAMI Rock Island and Mercer Counties: NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) National
was established in 1979, and is the most powerful
advocacy organization in the nation for persons with
mental illnesses as well as their family and friends.
NAMI RIMC (Rock Island & Mercer Counties) and its
service arm, Transitions, together provide the advocacy,
education, support, and provision of direct services that
our members and clients request and need.
We hope you will consider joining our efforts by
becoming a member of Transitions/NAMI RIMC. By
doing so, you can make a tremendous difference in the
lives of persons with mental disorders, their families,
our community, and in your own life as well. Please call Migdalia Colon at 309.283.1213 or call 309.793-4993
and ask to join NAMI.
